PURCHASES: All sales are final and non-refundable. Prices and services are subject to change without notification. Class packs and memberships can not be shared or transferred among clients. Please note the expiration date of your purchase. Expiration date extension requests will not be honored.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR: Whatever you feel comfortable in! However, shorts are encouraged for pole classes. We do tend to incorporate floorwork into our pole classes, so covering/protecting your knees is recommended. Normally we dance barefoot, but feel free to wear heels (must have an ankle strap). Leggings are encouraged for aerial, grounded movement, and flexibility classes. 


HOW TO GET HERE: We’re located at 1322 14th St NW 2nd Floor Washington DC 20005. Located above Popeye's chicken, and in between THE PIG and BTOO restaurants. Look for the glass door located between Popeye’s and BTOO and head upstairs to the find us. The closest metro is McPherson Square Metro (blue, orange, silver lines)

PARKING: If you’re traveling to our studio by car, allow extra time to search for parking. There is limited street, lot, and garage parking surrounding the studio. We understand that parking in DC can be frustrating however if you arrive more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of your class as a result of your inability to find parking, your reservation will be cancelled and your spot will be given to a client on the waitlist. No refund will be provided.

  • PARKING TIP #1: We’re fortunate to be surrounded by some of the best restaurants in the city so you will find that parking spaces are always opening up very close to the studio. Keep circling the area between 13th/15th St NW and Rhode Island Ave/Massachusetts Ave NW to find parking.

  • PARKING TIP #2: Look for parking at the corner of 1400 Highland Terrace NW, DC (Homewood Suites) and 5 Thomas Cir NW, DC (National City Christian Church). Spaces tend to open up in this area all the time.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Classes: Early cancel (10 hours prior to the start of class) out of any class without penalty. Late cancel (within 10 hours to the start of class) with penalty. If you late cancel (absent and/or try to enter the class more than 15 minutes after the start of class) the class is forfeited for the day. 

  • Private Lessons: Early cancel (10 hours prior to the start of the private lesson) out of any private lesson without penalty. Late cancel (within 10 hours to the start of the private lesson) with penalty. If you late cancel (absent and/or try to start the private lesson more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time) the lesson will be forfeited for the day. 

  • Private Parties: No refunds or rescheduling. If you’re late for your private party booking your private party time will not be lengthened.

  • Workshops: No refunds or rescheduling. Our workshops are specialty classes that normally only occur once, therefore we are unable to credit the account for a later use.


ARRIVAL TIME / LATE ARRIVALS: Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled start time. If your arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled start time of your class, your reservation will be cancelled and your spot will be given to a client on the waitlist. This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both our instructors and other students by showing up on time. No refunds are provided for late arrivals.

WAITLIST:

  • If a class is FULL signing up for the waitlist, is your best chance of getting into a class. The only way to sign up for the waitlist is to have a valid pricing option (drop in, class pack, and/or membership) on your account. While the pricing option will not be immediately used, the system will verify it is available and valid prior to adding you to the waitlist.

  • If you use the available pricing option for another class while on the waitlist, you will still be added into the class, however the class will show as unpaid. You will be notified via email/text that you have an unpaid class and in order to attend class you will need to cancel a later reservation or purchase an additional class to cover the unpaid class.

  • If you do not make it into the class and/or decide to not accept the spot the pricing option will remain on your account for later use, however no refunds will be given. When a spot becomes available you will receive an email/text notifying you that a spot has become available (learn how to set ensure your notification settings are set up correctly).

  • At this time the only way to automatically confirm your spot in a class is via text message; text back “Y” to attend, or “N” to decline.

  • If you’re confirming your spot via email and CANNOT attend reply to the email with “Sorry I can't make it to class” no response is needed if you CAN attend class.

  • REMINDER: If you’re on the waitlist and can no longer attend class, please cancel the reservation to allow another client to move into the class from the waitlist. Our normal late cancellation policy applies to clients moved into class from the waitlist.


LOW ENROLLMENT: Occasionally classes are cancelled due to low enrollment. The studio reserves the right to cancel classes with less than 2 pre-registered participants six hours before its scheduled time. Clients that have pre-registered will be notified via the contact information on file. Please make sure your contact information is accurate in your client profile.


MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION: 30-day advance written notice is required to cancel your membership after initial 3 month contract term is met. Send cancellation requests to devon@polepressure.com.


AGE LIMITATION: Anyone aged 13 and older can take any classes on our schedule. If you are under the age of 18, we require parental consent. Your parent needs to come to the studio with you, provide ID, and sign your liability form. Feel free to sign up for class online ahead of time, but make sure you are accompanied by your parent when you come in for your first class.
