Pole Dancing is the heart and foundation of Pole Pressure. We offer a wide variety of classes designed for the pole newbie to the advanced trixter. Whether you're looking for an exotic, flow, conditioning, and/or a sexy flexy pole classes, we’ve got you covered! Each class will include conditioning, specific instruction on particular movements, and pulled together into combo/routine.

Our beginner pole dancing class is tailored for new clients and those eager to revisit the basics while developing confidence and strength in holding your bodyweight up on the pole. You’ll work on movements to cultivate confidence and strength through pole dancing, develop a fundamental understanding of flow and movement around the base of the pole and floor, and static movements (non-spin pole) that stay within one body length up the pole.     Looking to try the erotic, sexy side of pole dancing? Our sensual beginner pole dancing class is focused more on developing stage presence, learning choreography, and performing. Tap into your inner sensual self in this class that is perfect for new clients and those eager to revisit the basics while developing confidence and strength in holding their bodyweight up on the pole. Explore flow, sultry isolations, and seductive movements around the base of the pole and floor, as well as static movements (non-spin pole) that stay within one body length up the pole. Knee pads are highly recommended for this class, as we tend to slink and slide around the floor. Heels are not required but recommended; be mindful that heels must have an ankle strap.     Feeling strong? Ready to take your pole journey to the next level? Our advanced beginner pole dancing class is ideal for clients who understand how to move and groove around the base pole with basic beginner movements, can comfortable bring both feet of the ground when two hands are on the pole in movements, and can hold up their bodyweight to the side of the pole for a few seconds without sliding down. In this class we will start climbing, inverting (going upside on the pole), and begin using spin pole. Though we might not address all skills in every class, each session will stretch your capabilities and leave with you increased strength and confidence. You will literally start to reach new heights in your training with this class.

  • Dive into the world of our sensual advanced beginner pole dancing class, where you’ll bask in the spotlight while honing your stage presence, mastering choreography, and unleashing your inner performer. Ideal for clients with a foundational grasp of sensual movements around the base pole, capable of lifting both feet off the ground with two hands on the pole, and holding their bodyweight to the side for a few seconds without sliding down. While this class primarily focuses on choreography, we’ll also introduce climbing, inverting (going upside down on the pole), and incorporating spin pole techniques. Although we won’t address every skill in each class, every session will push you to exceed your boundaries and enhance your abilities, guaranteeing that you walk away feeling more robust and self-assured. Knee pads are highly recommended for protection and fluid floor movements. Heels are not required but recommended; be mindful that heels must have an ankle strap.     Elevate your skills in our intermediate pole dancing class. If you are VERY comfortable with inverting up the pole from the ground, climbing to the top of the pole, and have a solid foundation and understanding of flow and movement around the base of the pole and floor; then this is the right class for you.

    This class focuses on mastering inverting - while keeping at least three (3) points of contact with the pole (from the ground and aerially), complex spin passes, and honing your climbing techniques; while we won’t cover every skill in every class, each class will challenge you to push your limits and refine your skills, ensuring that you leave feeling stronger and more confident.

    Are you a skilled and proficient poler looking to sharpen your skills? Then join us in our intermediate/advanced pole dancing class. This class is for those with a solid pole background and vocabulary, who are HIGHLY comfortable with inverting from the ground and aerially multiple times in a row on both sides, and comfortable stringing together spins and inverted combos with ease.

    This class focuses on improving consistency in inversions (both grounded and aerially), climbs from different grips and mounts, developing beautiful complex spin combos on both spin/static pole, learning advanced gymnastic movements on the floor and with the pole, and strengthening and increasing pole endurance in spin and inverted combinations. While not every skill will be covered in every class, each session will push you to test your limits and hone your abilities, ultimately leaving you feeling stronger and more confident.

    Ready to interpret, learn, and perform longer dance sequences and choreography for pole? Then join us for the Poletry Intermediate/Advanced class. This class is all about the unexpected! We will cover multiple dance and pole styles to fully explore the TRUE fusion of Pole and Dance! The class’s primary focus is learning choreography and mastering the art of musicality. Clients must have a solid pole background and vocabulary, be HIGHLY comfortable with inverting from the ground and aerially multiple times in a row on both sides, and be comfortable stringing together spins and inverted combos with ease. Step into the world of Poletry and expand your movement vocabulary while building your dance endurance.

  • SIGN UP FOR AN ADVANCED CLASS.

    Our advanced pole dancing class is designed for the most seasoned and experienced polers. Clients attending this class should have an extensive and vast pole background and vocabulary, and should be EXTREMELY comfortable with inverting from the ground/aerially multiple times from various grips, mounts, and on both sides of the pole. Clients should also be able to effortlessly to string together spins and inverted combos with minimal prompting.

    This class focuses on increasing pole endurance in spinning and inverted combinations, expanding knowledge, and improving consistency in advanced gymnastic movements both on the floor and with the pole. It also aims to improve consistency with inverted movements using two (2) points of contact (e.g., Ayeshas/handsprings), grip switches, and dynamic passes. While not all skills will be addressed in each class, every session will motivate you to explore your limits and improve your skills, resulting in a greater sense of strength and confidence.

Our beginner aerial hoop class is tailored for new clients and those eager to revisit the basics while getting comfortable on the aerial hoop - including mounting, dismounting, and moving within and under the hoop. This class will focus on strengthening/conditioning hoop exercises and foundation hoop tricks to help you get comfortable holding your body weight on the hoop.

    Feeling strong? Ready to take your aerial journey to the next level? Our advanced beginner hoop class is ideal for clients who understand how to comfortably mount, dismount, and move with the hoop. In this class, we will begin working at the top of the hoop and continue to focus on holding our body weight in, on, and above the hoop. This class will continue to build upon foundational movements that focus on strengthening/conditioning hoop exercises and then progress to developing choreography, connecting movements together, and transitions that use the entire hoop.

    Elevate your skills in our intermediate aerial hoop class. If you are VERY comfortable mounting the hoops from a variety of heights and are able to successfully mount the hoop from two consistent entrances then this is the right class for you. Class focus is on connecting moves together, transitions, and choreography that utilizes the entire lyra including the spanset.

GROUNDED MOVEMENT

Your main apparatus is the floor! These classes are a great complement to your pole and aerial hoop training to achieve those amazing moves.

  • SIGN UP FOR AN ACTIVE FLEXIBILITY CLASS.

    Formally known as Deep Stretch & Flexibility. Enhance your mobility and flexibility for pole and lyra in our active flexibility class. In this class, we will focus on and prioritize building strength, stability, and flexibility in various areas, including backbends, square and middle splits, and inversions such as headstands, forearm stands, and handstands. Although we won’t address all of these aspects in each class, the goal is to strengthen your muscles, enabling them to safely support your joints throughout their full range of motion during any movement. Prepare to feel a significant muscle burn during each session! All flexibility levels are welcome to join; no prior experience is needed or required.

  • SIGN UP FOR AN FIRM & FLEXY CLASS.

    Strong is sexy, let’s get firm & flexy! This class is a great supplement to your pole training!. This class will be taught as an all levels class beginning with Advanced Beginner movements and progressing up to Advanced. It’s ok if you can’t do all the movements on each level, just focus on where you are currently at in your pole journey. Clients with a minimum skill level of knowing how to move around the base pole with basic beginner movements, can comfortable bring both feet of the ground when two hands are on the pole in movements, and can hold up their bodyweight to the side of the pole for a few seconds without sliding down at welcome to attend.

    This class will feature half strength and conditioning and half flexibility work. We will work on drills using all the apparatuses (i.e our bodies, pole, bands, weights, and the floor) to aid in helping you achieve your pole dreams. Each class will have a specific movement focus for strength and flexibility. No matter the focus you will improve your grip strength, as well as work on the active strength and flexibility to progress in pole.

  • SIGN UP FOR A HANDSTAND CLASS.

    This class will focus on developing strength and confidence in hand balancing. You will be taught various techniques and exercises to enhance your handstands, both on and off the pole, as well as cartwheels and other acrobatic floor and pole work. The initial part of the class will concentrate on conditioning exercises that are specifically designed to improve your handstands, including core and flexibility. The latter half of the class will introduce you to handstand drills and other acrobatic skills. This class is suitable for all levels; however, you should be prepared to challenge yourself to get upside down!

OPEN PRACTICE

SIGN UP FOR OPEN PRACTICE

Self guided individual open practice time in the studio. The studio will have poles, aerial hoops, mats, and blocks available to train on. We have a speaker setup to allow you to connect your music. During open practice there is no formal instruction and every client is working on their individual workout. Use this time to develop and fine tune your own practice.

 What level should I start with?

If you are NEW to Pole Pressure we ALWAYS recommend starting with our beginner classes. However, if you have prior experience please review our class levels to determine where you should start!

Pole Dancing

✓ Advanced Beginner - Clients who understand how to move and groove around the base of the pole with basic beginner movements, comfortable bringing both feet of the ground* when two hands are on the pole in movements, and can hold up their bodyweight to the side of the pole for a few seconds without sliding down. *Inverting (with movement restrictions), climbing, and spin pole allowed

✓ Intermediate/Advanced - CLIENTS who have a SOLID pole background and vocabulary, who are HIGHLY comfortable with inverting* from the ground and aerially multiple times in a row on both sides, and comfortable stringing together spins and inverted combos with ease. *No movement restrictions

✓ Advanced - Clients attending this class should have an EXTENSIVE and VAST pole background and vocabulary, EXTREMELY comfortable with inverting* from the ground/aerially multiple times from various grips, mounts, and on both sides of the pole. Clients should also be able to effortlessly string together spins and inverted combos with minimal prompting. *No movement restrictions

✓ Advanced Beginner - CLIENTS who are comfortable with mounting, dismounting, and moving with the hoop*. *No movements with spanset

✓ Intermediate - Clients who are VERY comfortable mounting the hoops from a variety of heights and are able to successfully mount the hoop* from two consistent entrances. *No movement restrictions
