✅You’re brand new to pole and want extra time to learn the basics—no prior experience or upper body strength needed.
✅ You’ve never taken a group fitness class and would appreciate extra guidance.
✅You prefer a slower pace with more time to understand and practice movements.
✅You’re returning after a break, have trained elsewhere, or are self-taught and want to revisit the basics.
This class is not required before Beginner Pole, but is highly recommended if you’ve never taken a group fitness class or prefer a slower pace. Take it once or return as often as you like!

Building confidence: Get comfortable with the pole, build confidence in yourself, and explore a different side of yourself through movement.
Learning foundational skills: Practice the same basic grips, steps, spins, and introductory movements as seen our Beginner Pole classes, but with slower instruction and extra time to repeat.
Finding your flow: Explore movement around the base of the pole and on the floor while developing body awareness and coordination.
Developing strength: Gradually practice supporting your body weight through foundational exercises.
Working on static pole: All pole work stays within one body length up the pole. No spin pole or inversions on the pole will be used.
Explore pole dancing at a slower pace, with a focus on building confidence with the pole and in yourself. You’ll work on the same foundational movements as Beginner Pole, with step-by-step instruction and extra time for explanation, repetition, and questions. Through movement, you’ll have time to express yourself and discover a different side of yourself.
While not every skill will be covered in each class, every session helps you develop body awareness, coordination, strength, and flow. You’ll still get a taste of the pole “pressure,” with the goal of leaving empowered and more comfortable participating in Beginner Pole, where instruction moves a bit faster.
