Beginner pole competitor

You’re in the right place if:
You’re actively working on climbing and inverting but can’t yet do it consistently.
You feel comfortable moving around the base of the pole using basic beginner movements.

You are not eligible if any of the following apply:
You can invert with ease.
You placed 1st in the Beginner Pole Competitor Level at the 2024 Championship.
50% or more of your classes between Jan 1 – July 1, 2025 are at an intermediate level or higher.
You are teaching or performing pole for pay during Jan 1 – July 1, 2025.

Can I use spin pole?
Nope—static pole only.
Can I climb the pole?
Yes, but with restrictions. You may climb up to one body length only.
Can I invert from the ground or in the air?
No. Inverting is not allowed—hips must stay below the shoulders when your entire body is on the pole.
Can I do a handspring or ayesha?
No.

Yes as a competitor you are can rent the studio for $35 per hour. Each additional person you bring to the studio rental is charged $17 per person per hour. Reach out to info@polepressure.com to schedule.

The minimum length of the performance is 2:30 minutes, the maximum length is 5 minutes.

Two 45 mm 11ft stainless poles.

The studio will provide a single point Lyra (performers can request a specific Lyra size and must provide that information no later than September 11, 2024).

All equipment will be cleaned with at least 70% Isopropyl Alcohol before and after each performer.

We really don’t have any clothing restrictions except for the following… No nudity, however, clothing can be removed to a minimum of a g-string and pasties. If you want to be FULLY clothed with grip leggings that is totally fine :)

Yes! Including human props. Must be approved by the studio no later than September 11, 2024.

By participating in this championship, you are giving your consent to be photographed or videoed for promotional purposes of the studio and/or future events. You will not be compensated in any way for your photographs or video. If you are not comfortable with being featured in photos, videos, and/or social media channels DO NOT sign up for this event. The studio will have other performance opportunities that will notnrequire the public use of your image.

🗓 WHEN IS THE COMPETITION?
Date: Saturday, September 27, 2025
Time: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Each performer will be assigned a specific performance time block by September 15, 2025
👥 WHO CAN ENTER THE COMPETITION?
Open to anyone 18 years or older at the time of the competition
You do NOT need to be a Pole Pressure member to participate
💰 WHAT IS THE COMPETITION FEE?
New/Non-Active Clients: $64
Active Clients (1,3, or 10-Class Pack Holders): $37
Members (Boost, Ultimate /Ultimate Plus, 72 Class Pack, Summer Solstice): $27
🔄 CAN I CHANGE MY CATEGORY OR LEVEL?
Yes! Competitors can change their level and/or category until September 13, 2025 @ 11:58 PM.
🔧 WHAT IS THE POLE SETUP?
Two 45mm, 11ft stainless steel poles
Stage right pole: Spin mode (closet to the mirror)
Stage left pole: Static mode (closet to the brick wall)
⭕️ WHAT IS THE HOOP SETUP?
Performers may bring their own hoop (must be pre-approved by the studio by September 13, 2025)
If not providing your own, the studio will supply a single-point hoop
Performers using the studio hoop must request a specific size by September 13, 2025
⏱ HOW LONG CAN MY PERFORMANCE BE?
Minimum: 2 minutes and 30 seconds
Maximum: 5 minutes
👗 WHAT ARE THE COSTUME RESTRICTIONS?
No full nudity
Minimum coverage: G-string and pasties are allowed
Clothing removal is permitted within these limits
🧼 HOW WILL THE POLES & HOOPS BE CLEANED?
Cleaned before and after each performer using at least 70% isopropyl alcohol
📸 HOW WILL MY IMAGE BE USED?
By participating, you consent to photo and video recording for studio and event promotion
No compensation will be provided for the use of your image
If you do not consent to this, do not sign up for this event
Alternative performance opportunities will be available that do not require public media use
