    Quick Recap:

    • Review your May schedule by Wednesday, April 16 at NOON

    Text back “CONFIRMED” or let me know if you need updates—if I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume your schedule is good to go.

    • Be on time—I won’t be able to cover or jump into your classes, so plan ahead (especially with traffic).

    • If your outside job is impacted, I’m open to extra hours or workshop ideas to help keep you whole.

    • Let me know if you want to help on May 3 – Community Day

    The May 2025 schedule is complete—please take a moment to review it and text me back “CONFIRMED” ASAP, but no later than Wednesday, April 16 at NOON if you need any changes.

    If I don’t hear from you, I’ll assume your schedule is correct and you do not need any changes or subs.

    A few important notes:

    1. Traffic - Late Class Arrival. 

    We’ve had a few instructors running late recently. I get it—life happens and traffic is wild—but starting immediately, I won’t be able to jump in and cover the beginning of class due to my upcoming surgery and other competing priorities.

    As noted in your instructor agreement:

    “Punctuality: You are expected to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your scheduled class or private event.

    Late Arrival Policy:

    • A $10 deduction may apply to your pay if you arrive late.

    • You must notify Devon immediately at 703-599-1232 if you’re running late.

    • Excessive lateness may result in suspension or termination of employment.”

    I really don’t want to have to enforce this—so please, just plan ahead and give yourself a cushion to be on time.

    2. Surgery: Also, I’m having surgery on April 18 (I’m okay—promise!). I’ll be totally out of it that day and minimally up and alert April 19–20, but I won’t be able to lift or physically help out for about 8 weeks.

    3. If Your Job Is Impacted: With the current political climate, I know some of your outside jobs might be affected. If that’s the case and you’d like to pick up extra hours, teach a workshop, or brainstorm other ideas—I’m here for it. Let’s talk.

    4. May 3 – Pole Pressure Community Day:

    I’ve got instructors lined up for the free classes, but I’ll still need help with setup, flow, and general support. Let me know if you’re available to lend a hand!

    5. Capital Pride Float – June 7:

    We have a float in the Capital Pride Parade! I’ll need help with setup and participation—more info coming soon, but let me know if you want to be part of the fun.
