When did you start your pole journey with classes at Pole Pressure?

Why did you decide to try pole dancing at pole pressure?

I'd heard that it was a good form of working out (especially core training) without it feeling like it. Plus a friend of mine had wanted to try it so I agreed to join her at her first class.

What do you love most about pole dancing at pole pressure?

Like with any great thing, it distracts you from the outside world and steals your focus. Whether you are a beginner or an expert there is always something new to learn.

Why do you love Pole Pressure?

I don't even know where to begin! There isn't anything not to like, the instructors are great, the people are great and it just makes you feel like you are meant to be. Sure things can get challenging, but that's all the more reason to stick around. You learn something new every time and nothing is out of your reach if you just give it a try. Also, everyone, there is so willing to help out, whether it's the instructors or even other people in class.

What are some of your goals for this year?

Inverting for sure! I did it twice, but haven't been able to do it again. I want to prove to myself that it wasn't just a stroke of luck.

If you could train with any of your pole idols, who would it be and why?

I'm from New York and have admired @sammypicone for some time. Between following her account for years and my friend suggested taking a class, it's what really pushed me to give pole a try. In my honest opinion though I'm already training with the best. I have not taken a class with an instructor that I don't admire at Pole Pressure. They are all so dedicated to what they do in class and how they take time for every student, that it just makes all the difference to me.

What motivates you to train?

At first, it was just to finally take the leap and try something new, but it morphed. After my first class, I fell in love. I had a lot of things going on in my life and pole was the escape that I needed at the time. Months later and I still can't get enough of it. COVID halted some of the progress I made, but once I got back to class my muscle memory was working double time. It was also great having virtual classes being offered.
