You’re in the right place if:
You can easily invert into the Lyra from the ground, with control and proper form.

You are not eligible if:
You can mount the Lyra with ease while your entire body is off the ground during the mount.
You placed 1st in the Beginner Hoop Competitor Level at the 2024 Championship.
50% or more of your hoop classes between Jan 1 – July 1, 2025 are at an intermediate level or higher.
You have been teaching or performing hoop for compensation during Jan 1 – July 1, 2025.

Can I invert?
Yes — Required, with restriction. You must complete at least one invert, but you may not invert while fully off the ground onto the Lyra.
Can I do movements on top of the Lyra?
Yes — With restriction. Not a required element. You may only tap a hand or foot on top of the Lyra.
No sitting, standing, leg hooks, or any sustained positions on the top bar or spanset.
Can I perform a Lyra roll? (e.g., spiraling fully around while on the hoop)
No. Lyra rolls are not allowed.
Can I orbit? (e.g., running or walking to create large circular swings)
No. Orbiting is not allowed.
Can I swing the Lyra by walking or running with it?
No. Intentional swinging using momentum is not allowed.

You’ll be disqualified if you:
Invert while your body is fully off the ground during the mount.
Perform any movement on top of the Lyra beyond hand or foot taps.
Perform a Lyra roll.
Orbit the Lyra.
Walk or run with the Lyra to generate swinging.

Two 45 mm 11ft stainless poles.
Review ➡️ Hoop Set Up:
The studio will provide a single point Lyra (performers can request a specific Lyra size and must provide that information no later than September 13, 2025).

All equipment will be cleaned with at least 70% Isopropyl Alcohol before and after each performer.
Grip can not be applied directly to equipment.

No full nudity
Minimum coverage: G-string and pasties are allowed
Clothing removal is permitted within these limits

Yes—including human props
All props must be approved by the studio no later than September 13, 2025.

By participating, you consent to photo and video recording for studio and event promotion.
No compensation will be provided for the use of your image.

Alternative performance opportunities will be available that do not require public media use.
